This is the first month Molly didn't have to go to the pediatrician so I don't have weight and length measurements. Based on our very inaccurate bathroom scale though, Molly weighs around 14 lbs. She is growing so fast now! SO glad weight gain no longer seems to be an issue for her!
Molly is still tiny in comparison to other babies her age. She is still wearing size 1 diapers...although we might soon be transitioning to size 2. She also is still wearing 3-6 month clothes and some of those are even big on her!
Molly loves to eat. She eats solids twice a day now. She has oatmeal and fruit for breakfast and oatmeal with veggies for dinner. Her favorites seem to be apples, peas, carrots and sweet potatoes. She also likes prunes, butternut squash and pears. She doesnt care for bananas...not my child! My mom and I think it might be a texture thing so we will continue to try them...probably will try to puree them instead of just mashing them.
Molly is getting good at sitting up by herself! She can stay seated for a long time now as long as she doesn't get distracted by a toy that is far away or the dogs! She loves to stand up and would rather do that than lay around or sit down and play.
She has 2 teeth! Her first tooth broke through on January 30th. After several very crabby fays, my mom discovered it. The 2nd one broke through less than a week later on February 5th. Once again, she had been very crabby for the entire week and my mom discovered this one as well! She rarely lets you see her teeth so no good pictures of the yet...oh well!
Molly still isn't consistent with her sleep. She typically wakes up 1-2 times at night and takes 2-3 very short naps. We all get super excited when she sleeps 30 minutes of more. She definitely hates missing out on things!!
Love these chunky legs! To most they aren't chunky....but to us they are!
Happy baby!
Love her smiles!
You are such a joy in our lives. We are so thankful that God has entrusted us to raise you. You are such a sweet and loving baby. I can't wait to watch you grow and develop! We love you so much!
That is how Anna was, I thought one roll meant she was chunky! Are you making your own baby food? You may try the store bought bananas to see if she likes those. Good luck with the teeth, we are in the same boat over here and Kyle is cutting his 6th tooth!! The first four came in at the same time, not a fun week.
